Stirling Energy Systems, Inc. signed a 20-year power purchase agreement (subject to California Public Utilities Commission approval) with Southern California Edison, that will result in construction of a massive, 4,500-acre solar generating station (more than four times the size of the National Mall in DC) in the desert northwest of Los Angeles.
